Altiora Consulting is looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager to join our team. The candidate will have demonstrated excellent leadership in leading and managing teams and projects to deliver successful projects.

The candidate will have an excellent balance of organizational, management and technical skills, with little oversight. Interaction and leadership across functional lines is essential. The candidate will have demonstrated the ability to be proactive and self-manage.

Responsibilities:

• Develop strategic project roadmaps and resource plans in partnership with the leadership team. Partner with technical leadership on project execution and delivering successful outcomes.
• Evaluate, champion and drive adoption of the right project management methodologies throughout the organization.
• Help teams be more efficient, and see the big picture and ensure processes scale appropriately with the company.
• Create a collaborative work environment that fosters autonomy, transparency, expertise, innovation, and learning.
• Leads efforts to resolve project conflicts and establish appropriate resolution paths.
• Manage dependencies between multiple projects and have the ability to understand the big picture across engineering.
• Mentor individuals in best practices for project planning and execution.
• Develop strong partnerships with technology and business leaders.
• Assess and mitigate risk exposure.

Basic Qualifications:

• B.S in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of technical project management.

Preferred Certifications:

• Practical and advanced understanding of managing the lifecycle of mid to large-scale projects.
• Excellent communication skills; skilled at cross-functional and cross-organizational communication and attention to detail.
• Experience with software engineering practices and familiarity with coding techniques.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methods and practices through multiple teams.
• Ability to traverse both vertically and horizontally in a large organization.
• Successfully traverse tactical and strategic objectives.

Our Culture:

The pay range for this role is $125,000 to 140,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience and certifications. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
